Last year, Ryan Browne launched an improvised webcomic called “Blast Furnace,” in which he drew a new page in an hour five days a week for a year with no plot, no script, no direction and tons of attitude. The result was pure comic madness in the best of ways, telling a story (sort of) in which a man with a brutal mustache and a flaming tie named Blast Furnace caused mayhem and got involved with — and this is a direct quote from Ryan — “horribly burned criminal owls, melted adulterous security guards, dragon bartenders, 70’s turtles, lil’ draculas, evil rabbit police chiefs and a Native American warrior who looks just like a horse, but actually he’s just a hideously deformed man.”

And now you can buy the first 1444 page volume of comic book awesomeness thanks to a new Kickstarter launched by Browne today. For jut $15, you can get the trade delivered to your door for a gut punch to your brain abs. That’s a deal you can take to the bank!

Want extra proof though? You can read all of “Blast Furnace” online for free at the above link. Give it a read. What could go wrong? Besides you getting your head punched around.

You’ve been warned.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
