Ryan Stegman isn’t a very well known name in the world of comics yet, but he is one that has drawn the attention of a few Multiversity writers recently for his work on books like Sif and Incredible Hercules. His style has drawn buzz from art fans across the industry, so it only makes sense that Marvel locked him up today in to an exclusive contract.

What his first Marvel exclusive project is remains unclear, but Marvel.com does say that it will involve a heroine (he’s well known for his attractive ladies).

Congratulations to Ryan, and best of luck going forward. If you need confirmation of his skills, check out his DeviantArt page. That’s where I picked up this Zelda commission he did, and I’ve got to say: his stuff kicks a lot of ass.

    David Harper

David Harper mainly focuses on original content, interviews, co-hosting our 4 Color News and Brews video podcast, and being half of the Mignolaversity and Valiant (Re)visions team. He runs Multiversity's Twitter and Facebook pages, and personally tweets (rarely) @slicedfriedgold. By day, he works in an ad agency in Anchorage, Alaska, and he loves his wife, traveling and biscuits & gravy (ordered most to least, which is still a lot).
