Twelve Reasons To Die comic teaser from Halo-8 Entertainment on Vimeo.

In what is arguably the best comic we hadn’t heard of, it looks like RZA and Ghostface Killah are putting together a book entitled “12 Reasons to Die” through Halo-8 (Godkiller, the Morrison and Ellis documentaries) and Black Mask Studios (Occupy Comics), and today it gets a trailer.

The book looks pretty incredible from a creative standpoint: created by Ghostface Killah and Adrian Younge, produced by The RZA, written by Matthew Rosenberg and Patrick Kindlon (Trip City’s Menu), and featuring a rotating roster of interior and cover artists including Tim Seeley (Revival, Hack/Slash), Paolo Rivera (Daredevil), Francesco Francavilla (Black Beetle, Detective Comics), Ramon Perez (Tale of Sand), Ben Templesmith (30 Days Of Night), Riley Rossmo (Bedlam), Garry Brown (The Massive), Jim Mahfood (Tank Girl), Kyle Strahm (Haunt), Toby Cypress (Blue Estate), Tyler Crook (B.P.R.D.), Joe Infurnari (Mush!), Breno Tamura (Pigs), Nate Powell (Swallow Me Whole), Gus Storms (Space Creep), Chris Mitten (30 Days of Night), and Ron Wimberly (Prince of Cats). That’s an insane powerhouse of talent if I’ve ever seen one, and if the above trailer doesn’t somehow catch your eye, I don’t know what will.

So give it a watch. “12 Reasons to Die” #1 is in stores May 29th with a Diamond order code of MAR130906.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
