We hyped the book up as much as we possibly could, as Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples’ “Saga” is just an absolutely incredible comic. It seems people listened, or at the very least were smart and picked the book up: the first issue of this incredible series opens at #40 on Diamond’s best sellers chart for March, outselling every other Image title including perennial top seller “The Walking Dead.”
In our minds, it will be just like “Dead” too. We think its sales will continue to grow and grow with each passing month.
Congrats to BKV, Staples, letterer Steven Finch, Image Comics and everyone else involved. Truly a special accomplishment.
