Robot 6 at Comic Book Resources revealed this morning that Boom! Studios was going to be adapting a mystery movie (starring Samuel L. Jackson) into comic form.

At first.

Shortly thereafter, a person in their comments section actually dug up the truth: it wasn’t an adaptation, it was an entirely new property created and written by Jackson himself and his Afro Samurai partner Eric Calederon. The title is going to be named Cold Space and will be released in April. The artist attached is Avatar Press contributor Jeremy Rock.

For more information on the project, see after the jump. I’m excited for the prospect as so far Boom! has provided steadily solid titles and the idea of Jackson and Calderon working together is an enticing one. April is going to be a huge month for comics.
