Just announced, it looks like Matt Fraction and Howard Chaykin’s upcoming collaboration “Satellite Sam” is getting a Midtown Exclusive Variant, as seen above. Solicited for July, the book follows the investigation into the death of TV star Satellite Sam, whose son is convinced that his death is something more than anything natural.

The book is easily one of our most anticipated new titles of the year, and hey, if you happen to have a bit of extra cash laying around, you could do worse than to order some brand new Howard Chaykin period-piece art to put up on your wall in a nice frame!

Here’s the solicit for the issue, as well as the Diamond Order Code:

SEX • DEATH • LIVE TV!

NEW YORK CITY, 1951: The star of beloved daily television serial “Satellite Sam” turns up dead in a flophouse filled with dirty secrets. The police think it was death by natural causes but his son knows there was something more… if only he could sober up long enough to do something about it. This noir mystery shot through with sex and violence exposes the seedy underbelly of the golden age of television.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
