This Saturday is one of my favorite holidays of the year, and it isn’t even a widely spread holiday – it’s like a comic book Christmas, and it’s name is Free Comic Book Day.

Free Comic Book Day is just what it sounds like, as most of the major comic book publishers produce special comics for the first Saturday of this May, which in this case is Saturday, May 1st. While you’re at it, pick something new up. Just because they are free for you doesn’t mean they are free for your store…support your local comic book store and buy something cool and new!
