Via an exclusive on ComicVine, writer Scott Lobdell has announced that his run on “Teen Titans” is over.

Ending with issue #30 and the subsequent “Teen Titans” annual, this will bring the series back to where it began with the gang’s battle against N.O.W.H.E.R.E. Lobdell says very little more than that and goes on to thank the creatives that have worked with him on the series, but given the overall reception this series has received since its launch in 2011 you can sort of guess at what the general reaction from fans is right now. (Your mileage varying, of course.)

April is going to be a time of big changes for DC. It’ll be interesting to see who picks up the baton of the staple legacy team next. We’ll keep you posted assuredly.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
