Scott Pilgrim vs the DLC

Do you have $1.99? Do you love Scott Pilgrim? Well, then you’re in luck. Ubisoft has announced that they will be offering DLC for Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game which will not only fix some bugs, but also give you new things to do as well as a playable Knives Chau!

The game will now offer two new modes of play: a fighting arena where you can beat up your friends, and a dodgeball-esque game as well. The update will also change the difficulty level a bit and make the game slightly easier (BOOO!!!!) as well as improve the “drop in/drop out” element of co-op gameplay. However, no multiplayer will be added, so don’t expect to be playing with your friends in Beijing while you sit in your apartment in Portland. It’s just not happening, I’m afraid. It’s also being reported that you shouldn’t expect any additional DLC, so with a price this low you might as well endulge instead of waiting for some kind of better deal.

I’d love to have multiplayer in this game, but se la vie. It’ll allow a new reason to play through, and I’ll be interested to see what happens when you use the “summon” ability with Knives. For those not in the know, while playing the game every character can summon Knives Chau for back-up, health restoration, etc., and it’s different for every character. So… what happens when Knives summons Knives?

Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
