While it certainly isn’t breaking down the box office at the moment, it’s impossible not to catch Scott Pilgrim fever to a point. Whether you’re in love with the book, or if you’ve seen the movie three times, Scott Pilgrim has offered something for everyone. One of those things is the fantastic video game which covers the plot of the book somewhat more closely than the book does! And half of what makes the game so great is the dynamite 8bit soundtrack as designed by chiptune band Anamanaguchi.

Today, Anamanaguchi’s soundtrack is available on iTunes for download! While no physical release has been announced yet, this is your chance to get down to some sweet Nintendo-esque songs (although they’re coming out of your PS3). The game also makes it’s way to XBOX 360s today, so those of you without Sony’s game machine are ready to get into it.

Be sure to pop on iTunes and grab it here, and be sure to give Anamanguchi’s other two CDs a consideration for your collection!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
