After taking a hiatus from comics as Ex Machina came to an end, Multiversity favorite Brian K Vaughan is back, he’s at Image, and he’s brought Fiona Staples along with him for the ride.

Co-created with Staples, Saga will be a science-fiction series described by Vaughan as an epic about a young family struggling to survive during an intergalactic war. He also notes that it is family-oriented, but not necessarily family friendly. Vaughan also adds that the series is partially inspired by his new family, and it will be his longest series to date with a somewhat happier ending than Y or Ex Machina.

The series is set to be released next year, and will assumedly get rave reviews from us at Multiversity, so be on the lookout for that.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
