At the Creator Owned panel at SDCC, Jonathan Hickman announced that he will be doing two more creator owned books for Image: The Manhattan Projects and Secret.

The Manhattan Projects will be illustrated by Nick Pitarra (The Red Wing) and will be about the men responsible for the nuclear bomb. Hickman described it as “the Thunderbolts of science,” and it will feature Oppenheimer and “drunk Einstein” as characters.

Secret will be illustrated by Ryan Bodenheim (Red Mass For Mars), and will be a corporate espionage story.

Both books are set to be longer than Hickman’s usual minis, running about 15 issues or longer. We have no images for these yet, but we’ll give them to you as we find them.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
