At the Image panel earlier today, Image announced four exciting new titles.

First up, Tim Seeley announced a crossover between his popular Hack/Slash property and the Hatchet film-series by Adam Green to be held in the pages of the upcoming annual. Apparently a friend of Seeleys, the two kicked around the idea of the properties crossing over and the idea came to live. Featuring Cassie Hack going up against slasher Victor Crowley, the book will be written by Benito Dereno with art by Ariel Zucker Brull, in shops in November.

Next book to be announced was a MacGyver comic, entitled Fugitive Gauntlet, written by the creator of MacGuyver Lee David Ziotoff and Tony Lee with Becky Cloonan on art.

Third up is a book called Mondo, published in the oversized Golden Age format and written by Ted McKeever.

Last we have a book called Peter Panzerfaust from Kurtis J. Weibe and Tyler Jenkins.

All of the above books are set for 2012 releases.

Image also took the time to plug several previously announced and upcoming titles, such as Last of the Greats, the Strange Tale of Luther Strode, Severed, Pigs, Xenoholics and Danger Club all of which are worth checking out.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
