At the Skybound panel yesterday, Robert Kirkman announced a new series by him and Charlie Adlard called Album. The books will be oversized 56-page issues/novellas in the format similar to the Infinite’s upcoming Deluxe Editions, with “Album One” being called the Passenger.

Kirkman described the book as “basically about a future where, sadly, we’re still very much dependent on fossil fuels.” The book will star men sent on year-long trips into space to harvest fuel, but one ship is attacked by space pirates and a killer robot.

No release date yet other than “soon”, but we’ll get you more information as we hear of it.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
