Some time ago, Marvel teased a series entitled _ _ _ _ _ Reborn from Loeb and McGuinness. Now at the Cup O’ Joe panel at SDCC, it has been revealed that the project will be Cable Reborn, and will bring back the dead character from the ashes of Second Coming to whatever remains of the X-Men post-Schism.

This isn’t the first time that Loeb has worked with the character of Cable, writing the character’s main title in the 90’s. This is also not the first time that Loeb has written a book with the moniker of “Reborn” either, working on the Onslaught insanity of the 90s and his return in 2006.

How Cable is coming back is unknown at this time obviously, but hey, time travel, right?

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
