SDCC ’11: Ross To Release Two New Image Books

At the Creator-Owned panel, Jonathan Ross (Turf) announced two new books to be released on Image: Golden Age and Home Life.

Golden Age will be illustrated by Tommy Lee Edwards, and tells the story of a retirement home for superheroes. They heroes are forced into retirement, but they refuse to give up their jobs. The series is a new ongoing, and Matthew Vaughan is already attached to make a film of the first six issues.

Home Life will be illustrated by David LaFuente and is described as a “reverse-Superman” story in which an Earth baby is sent to another planet. The book will be published next year and is temporarily on hold until David LaFuente’s Marvel contract comes to an end.
