Announced at the New 52 Panel, THUNDER Agents will be returning in November of this year. Despite the odds seemingly against it – particularly the fact that Nick Spencer is now a Marvel Exclusive creator – the popularity of the book has saved it from the gallows and now everyone can rejoice.

As Nick Spencer is quoted over at DCU’s The Source, “I’m very grateful to DC for allowing us to continue telling this story that everyone involved has become so passionate about. This is really what we’ve been building towards since the very first issue— everything comes to a head here, and the twists and turns only get crazier as we delve deeper into it. To get to see this story through is enormously fulfilling from a creative perspective, and I’m excited and hopeful that with the collected edition on its way and the first arc already available digitally, we’ll have an opportunity to introduce a legion of new readers to these fantastic characters and the rich history of T.H.U.N.D.E.R.”

The series will get a new #1 on November 16th and will feature Wes Craig as the main interior artist with Andy Kubert on covers, with additional guests in issues #2-5 similar to the first volume of the book.

By the way, please note the Multiversity quote on the attached image. Yeah. We’re totally famous now. (We asked Nick once if he was responsible for it and he said he had no idea it was there – but still a win!)

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
