Announced at the Skybound panel yesterday, it looks like Witch Doctor is getting a second mini-series next year, making this the first major success for Robert Kirkman’s new Skybound imprint. The second book from Skybound (if you count the Walking Dead) and the only title without Kirkman involved (so far), Witch Doctor #1 sold out at a distributor level and things are looking good for the second issue as well.

Little is known about the new series, other than there will be a “man who believes one of his organs has been taken… but nothing is missing”, and that the doctor will be using X-rays as tarot cards.

Or, in other words: if you’re digging the first mini, you’re probably fist pumping right about now.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
