After the success of Marvel’s The Avengers, Joss Whedon is probably one of the biggest names at this year’s Comic Con and CBR has a full rundown of his Dark Horse Panel.

Whedon started off the panel by talking about his upcoming Shakespeare adaptation, Much Ado About Nothing, saying the film had finished pre-production. “We are submitting it to some festivals and hopefully someone will be submitting it to theatres…if not, iTunes.”

He followed that by announcing his next project: Dr. Horrible 2, a sequel to his much-beloved online musical Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. “We have a bunch of songs, we know exactly where we’re going…and some of the actors are in it are very successful,” Whedon added.

Then came one of the most surprising announcements as Joss revealed that he would be travelling to London to meet with Warren Ellis about an upcoming project. Something to keep an eye out for?

A full run down of the panel, including the Q&A with the fans can be found at CBR

Alice W. Castle

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
