Yesterday, DC and the CW revealed a bunch of news for their four superhero shows, running Monday through Thursday, as well as the animated Vixen on the CW Seed. While none of it was exactly groundbreaking, there was a lot of small news worth collecting. Let’s run this down, show by show:

Arrow

– Katie Cassidy, the late Laurel Lance, has signed a deal to appear across all four CW shows. Presume time travel shenanigans are in place.

– Promotheus will be the major villain of season 5, giving us all “Cry for Justice” flashbacks.

Ragman will join Vigilante, Wild Dog, and Artemis as new vigilantes this season.

– We will see Mister Terrific in the first nine episodes.

The Flash

– The events of last season’s finale will create a new timeline, that is where the season will pick up. It was not revealed if this will be a permanent change, a temporary one, or a season-long one. What we do know is that Cisco is now a millionaire, the Reverse Flash is back, Wally West is the (Kid?) Flash, and Doctor Alchemy will be the co-big bad, along with an unnamed speedster.

Legends of Tomorrow

Three new members of the Justice Society were announced, along with the previously cast/announced Hourman and Citizen Steel: Stargirl, Obsidian, and Dr. Mid-Nite.

– The same article notes that the big bad of the next season is the Legion of Doom, made up of Captain Cold, Malcolm Merlyn, Damien Darhk, and the Reverse Flash. Some time travel shenanigans are likely necessary to pull this off, but this is pretty great news for an old school Challenge of the Superfriends fan.

Vixen

– Season two highlight reel:

Supergirl

– We still don’t know what character was in the pod at the end of Season One, but we know who plays him: Christopher Wood. According to Comics Alliance, rumors are swirling that, perhaps, he is playing Mon-El.

– Production hasn’t officially started yet, so there wasn’t much else to report.
