More and more footage is coming out of San Diego Comic Con about the upcoming feature length film of The Goon. This movie, which finds Clancy Brown voicing The Goon and Paul Giamatti voicing Frankie, is written by series creator/writer/artist Eric Powell and is produced by David Fincher (Fight Club).

The footage, revealed today by MTV Splash Page, depicts Frankie going on a bender thanks to some money found a slackjaw and then The Goon showing up post beating for a HUGE beer at Norton’s. Oh yeah, and the footage ends with the deadly duo making it rain death and destruction upon some slackjaws thanks to some fists of fury and Frankie’s Tommy Gun. No big deal.

This animated adaptation looks like it will be a blast and a half, and we’d expect nothing less from anything coming from Eric Powell. More details on the director (rumored to be Fincher himself) and release date as we get them.
