We’ve been wondering what is coming from Marvel’s new TV division now that Jeph Loeb is in charge, and it appears that the first announcement is here: in addition to the already announced Avengers cartoon, there will be four brand new animated television shows to air on G4 next year – all of which Warren Ellis has worked on.

The series will be Wolverine, X-Men, Iron Man, and Blade! Each will be 12 episodes for their first seasons and have been developed by Madhouse under Ellis’ guidance, and will air exclusively on G4. You can check out a teaser for the anime Iron Man above.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
