SDCC: "Scott Pilgrim" Action Figure on the Horizon

Personally, I’m not a collector of memorabilia involving comics outside of the actual comics themselves. With that said, Mezco revealed at San Diego Comic Con that not only will they be releasing the previously announced Scott Pilgrim plushes, but they will also be releasing at least a 6″ Scott Pilgrim action figure. Not only that, but it’s the Bryan Lee O’Malley design, not some sort of Michael Cera recreation that would somehow find a way to outawkward Michael Cera (which is saying something). Perhaps I’ll have to make an exception for this action figure.

This is a big week for O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim, as the series finale hit this week to rave reviews and big sales, the movie premiered at SDCC in epic fashion (with a performance by Metric!), and an altogether dominant performance at Comic Con. This action figure is just icing on a very delicious cake.
