    Sean Gordon Murphy’s Rejected Batman Story

    Today, on Twitter, Sean Gordon Murphy tweeted a link to his pitch to DC for an 8-page Elseworlds story. We have the image below, but it is amazingly compressed for space.     About a year ago, I pitched my own story that got rejected. And to be honest, I was 90% sure it was going to be rejected. And you can see why. The editor is a friend whom I respect greatly, so I took a chance and sent him this. An 8 page Batman story doesn’t come around very often, and because many of the stories tend to be “Elseworld” like, I didn’t think there would be any harm in trying to do something COMPLETELY different.
