Every once in a while something big is announced on Twitter to those who are looking closely, and a doozy just dropped, as Sean Gordon Murphy (The Wake, Punk Rock Jesus) just tweeted the following:

That is amazing news, and I’d wager this might be something we see at next week’s Image Expo. Murphy with two books at Image in 2014? Including one in Millar’s new universe? Honestly, we said previously that our three time reigning Best Publisher of the Year Image will probably have an even bigger and better year in 2014. If anything, this just confirms that.
An absolute bombshell of an announcement. Look for more about this in the future, assuming that he’s not pulling one hell of a prank on us. Looking forward to what this might mean for any potential Punk Rock Jesus follow-up, and if that book moves from Vertigo to Image in the process.
Update: Murphy tweeted a response to this article, and yes I am fast!
