This morning I’ve written two news posts that have been very bleak about things that I don’t like which are happening. Lets brighten things up a bit with something I do like to talk about.

One of our favorite books around here is “Hoax Hunters,” which we like to feature every month it comes out. After a bit of a wait between #9 and #10, the series is back with new artist T. Rex Jones to wrap up the first “season” of the recently-optioned series. As such, there is a teaser trailer to whet your appetite:

I don’t mean to throw out hyperbolic platitudes, but “Hoax Hunters” has never been better. I quite enjoyed the first 11 issues of the book (0-9 and an Annual), but the book seemed to be feeling itself out during that time — which is fine enough, especially if you already like the concept and characters. But with the new issue and the arrival of T. Rex Jones, the book feels utterly transformed as we noted in the past, and now is a perfect time to hop on.

Here’s a preview:

“Hoax Hunters” #10 is in stores now.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
