We thought the teasers were over, but oh no. Marvel has more up it’s sleeve. Behold: Daredevil in his brand new costume, courtesy of a Billy Tan makeover. Now fully embracing his role as the leader of the hand and standing up for his right to enforce the Shadowland, Daredevil has gone from one of the most torn heroes in the comic community to, what looks like, Marvel’s latest street level villain.

You know, I am reminded of a statement that every Daredevil writer has to make it incredibly difficult for the upcoming writer. Put Daredevil in a situation that will take some clever and cunning scheme to escape from. From Bendis to Brubaker, we saw Daredevil outed as Matt Murdock and put in jail. From Brubaker to Diggle, we have Murdock taking over the Hand, one of the organizations he has sworn to defeat. I can only imagine what Diggle has planned in his future for Daredevil, because let me tell you – this does not look friendly.

Daredevil and company enter the Shadowland in July under the helm of Andy Diggle and Billy Tan. Look for reviews come the time.

    Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
