Excited for the upcoming Avengers movie? Well, you’re in luck – it looks like we have some good great news for you: the Helicarrier will be in the movie. Not only that, but we can show you what it looks like. Just look up (heh).

According to a report from a Russian website, Spidermedia.ru, the helicarrier was supposed to appear on Iron Man 2. The designs appear thanks to George Hull, who has worked on movies like Avatar, and those of you who have seen that know it certainly has quite the visuals. I’d love to see that kind of depth and work done for the Avengers.

What do you guys think? Excited to see the SHIELD helicarrier? You can even see where they’ve taken their inspiration from specific in-comic drawings of the massive beast. We’re still a ways away from the Avengers film, but I think it’s safe to start getting excited now, folks.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
