For those unfamiliar with “Spell on Wheels,” it told the story of three witches, Andy, Claire, and Jolene, as they went on a roadtrip searching for a mysterious thief who had stolen all of their magical items. The sequel series will see the trio return to the road again after Claire becomes possessed by a dark presence, and they set out in search of who is responsible.
Leth is best known for writing the original “Spell on Wheels,” as well as “Hellcat” and “Valley Ghouls.” Levens has previously drawn “Madame Frankenstein” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Louise colored “Hex Wives” and “Grumble.” During the interim, the trio created two “Mysticons” graphic novels for Dark Horse, based on the now concluded Nickelodeon cartoon of the same name.
“Spell on Wheels: Just To Get To You” #1 is scheduled for release on October 9.
