Revealed on Marvel.com, an upcoming storyline will show exactly how Kaine reacts to the new Superior Spider-Man.
Crossing over “Scarlet Spider” #20 and the new “Superior Spider-Man Team-Up” #2 books, the story brings Kaine to New York and face to face with Doc Ock’s Spider-Man, whom Kaine does not know the true identity of that. Not only that, but old Spidey nemesis and constant thorn in Kaine’s side the Jackal returns as well to make matters even worse — because if a clone wasn’t bad enough, a villain-possessed body certainly has something exploitable about it!
All of this will show off seeds that have been planted in “Avenging Spider-Man” #16 and “Superior Spider-Man” #6, as well as recent events in “Scarlet Spider” for an epic spider pay-off. For more, check out the interview on Marvel.com.

This is not the first time Spidey has had extra arms, but these seem to be a bit more homegrown. It’ll be interesting to see how Doc Ock puts this to use, and what this means for the future adventures of the Superior Spider-Man.
