In anticipation of the end of Origin of the Species and the beginning of Dan Slott’s run on Spider-Man, Marvel has released the above trailer for your viewing pleasure. It gives you a small look at what is to come with the upcoming arc, and allows you to begin judging if it’s good or bad before the book even comes out!

So what do we see? Lots of Humberto Ramos (obviously), some new costumes, references to two other books, a new job, the inclusion of the Avengers, some villain teases, and a glance that lasts far too long between Peter Parker and a certain female. Hmm. Does this spell good news or bad news for Peter Parker? Well, it’s too early to tell, but he seems to think so.

The first issue comes out November 10th, 2010, so be on the lookout for it. It’s going to be a brand new Spider-Man.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
