Joining Marvel’s recent digital exclusive books at ComiXology and Kindle, “Spidey: School’s Out,” a six-issue biweekly series is coming to the platform in June from writer John Barber, artist Todd Nauck, colorist Rachelle Rosenberg, and covers by David Nakayama. The issues will all be $2.99 on comiXology and Kindle and will be free on comiXology Unlimited like Marvel’s other digital-first series. The official description for the series reads:

“Peter Parker just survived his first year as the Amazing Spider-Man and a year of high school! What is he going to do next? He’s going to Stark science camp! A week indoors with the coolest technology in the world is a dream come true for Peter — and a bonanza for one Spider-foe who’s seriously upgraded his arsenal. Can Spider-Man keep the camp safe, and keep his identity secret from his first dormmate, while Peter Parker makes new friends and finishes his project on time?”

This is Marvel’s fifth comiXology Original title, since joining comiXology Unlimited last spring, following the likes of “The Immortal Iron Fists,” “Thor Vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe,” “Black Panther: Long Live The King” and “Avengers: Back to Basics.” All of these previous titles have told out-of-continuity, standalone stories.

Barber is best known for his work as an editor at IDW, as well as his work on their “Transformers” books. Nauck has illustrated many other Spider-Man books for Marvel, including, most notably, “Amazing Spider-Man” #583, which featured a cameo from US President Barack Obama.

The first issue of “Spidey: School’s Out” hits comiXology on June 6th. You can check out the cover for the first issue below.
