It seems Stan Lee and Todd McFarlane are combining on an awesome campaign to bring a new superhero to market with the help of unknown creators. The contest is:
The Stan Lee Foundation and Todd McFarlane invite comics artists to create a superhero character that will excite a global audience. What can your superhero do? What are your superhero’s special powers? How can they help the world?
The winner will be selected Feb. 7 and will have their character made into a sculpture or action figure by McFarlane’s Toy division, have a special award presented to them by Stan Lee at San Diego Comic Con, and will get to spend a day with McFarlane at Todd McFarlane Entertainment in Tempe, Arizona.
