Today is a pretty big day for Stan the Man. Not only will he be appearing on The Big Bang Theory tonight, there is some other huge news.Released by the LA Times Hero Complex blog today, we now know what those “Stan’s Back” ads were all about (officially): Stan Lee will be creating three new superhero characters for Boom! Studios titles, all of whom will be announced tomorrow at a press conference
The new titles are not expected to be announced until later this year, but any time the fabled creator of the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and X-Men is working, you have no choice but to get excited. While recent ventures have been…less than stellar, here’s hoping Stan nails these ones. With Mark Waid writing one of these titles, I feel like we can expect at least one of the three to be excelsior.
A note to the LA Times: Matt is not obsessed with Stripperella. At least I don’t think so. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
