We’ve heard news of two, if not three, in development superhero comedy television shows getting pilots made this week. DC has Powerless, which has been compared to The Office, Marvel has Damage Control, based off the superhero clean up comic, and Marvel reportedly has a second comedy show in the works.
Much has been made of this – some say it is a welcome shift in the world of comics adaptations to focus on characters other than the heroes, others say that by doing this, you are removing all the reasons for fans of superheroes to watch the shows.
