Smallville is in it’s last season and is wrapping up to the final confrontation between Superman and Darkseid. And when I say Superman, I literally mean Superman – because it looks like Clark will finally be ditching his regular clothes and putting on that suit everyone knows him for.
Maybe, anyway.
In the upcoming episode “Prophecy”, writtnen by Bryan Q Miller (Batgirl), Clark takes Lois to the Fortress of Solitude, in which we see (in the above screencap) the famous suit finally being shown. There are tons of rumors/spoilers flying around in the internet that the suit will be worn in the finale itself (as well as apparently a phonebooth costume change?), so fans who have been waiting for Clark to finally take that leap and acknowledge his true future should look forward to that.
This week’s episode is “Booster”, written by Geoff Johns, with “Prophecy” to air next week (May 6th).

I don’t know a lot of people who personally watch Smallville, and those I do can’t watch it without making fun of it excessively (our own Gilbert Short told me he couldn’t review the show anymore because it was too hard to say something nice about it) – but I can’t say that I’m not interested in the finale a little bit, if only to see Darkseid appear.
