Premiering on TV Guide is our first look at what Booster Gold and Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) will look like in the upcoming episode of Smallville! Airing on April 22nd, Eric Martsolf will be playing the time traveling loud mouth who is at the beginning of his career (i.e. when he is most conceited). According to the TV Guide write-up, Booster will clash with Clark, “who is struggling to create a more mild-mannered secret identity to balance out his life as a the Blur.” Meanwhile, Jaren Brandt Bartlett will be playing Blue Beetle, who will have his origin story shown in the episode and will spend the duration of the episode being at odds with Booster. It should also be noted that Geoff Johns not only created Jamie Reyes as the Blue Beetle, but also wrote this episode, entitled Booster.
