A while ago Marvel revealed that X-Force as we knew it would desolve and be replaced with a new crew and a new writing team. Well, in today’s X-Men: Second Coming #2, the new X-Force team is revealed – and Marvel is so excited about it, they couldn’t even wait to let you read it in the comic!
The above picture, featuring art by Greg Land, shows us who will be in the new X-Force book by Rick Remender. Deadpool is no real surprise here as Yost and Kyle had always said they were planning to bring the character into the book, and (Arch)Angel remains on the team. The real fun new members are Psylocke and Fantomex. I had personally guessed Fantomex would be on the team when the original teaser popped out, but to have him finally join in the X-Books as a full time member is exciting.
X-Force relaunches as the Uncanny X-Force in October with Rick Remender on writing detail and Jerome Opena arting.
