Take A Quick Look At Superman: EARTH ONE

I know what you’re thinking: “A post for just that?” Well, I have a little more for you. That image (which was stolen off of Newsarama) is from DC’s Graphic Novel Catalog for 2010, and Superman: Earth One by J Michael Straczynski and Shane Davis is officially solicited for November! The comic will be 128 pages and priced at $19.99, and the solicit for it says that it “gives new insight into Clark Kent’s transformation into Superman and his first year as The Man of Steel.”

While the image is small, it does feature our titular hero in a hoodie as he unveils the classic S that we’re used to, which looks close to the sketches we’ve seen before. And while the cover image is small, it is an interesting tease at what we might see from this title – specifically a younger and perhaps “hipper” Clark Kent.

So I accept the smaller image if only because of my general excitement for the title. Thoughts? Does this make anyone want to get the book any more, any less?

Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
