Following yesterday’s news that “Batman: The Dark Knight” and “Animal Man” would both be ending in March, today word comes that “Talon” would be joining their ranks.
The book, which was launched by James Tynion IV and Guillem March in October 2012, told the tale of a rogue member of the Court of Owls. The book, despite adding a new character to the Bat-mythos, never really found the audience DC hoped it would. Tim Seeley and Jorge Lucas are wrapping the book up with a two-issue story featuring Lord Death Man.
Due to its cancellation, the only book DC is publishing in the New 52 Continuity starring exclusively characters created since the relaunch is “The Movement” (and depending how generous you are, “Justice League 3000”).
The full solicit for “Talon” 17 follows.
