Many comic companies are announcing their FCBD plans now, and Th3rd World (home of perennial favorite “Stuff of Legend”) is no different. Th3rd World will be releasing a new kick-off story that leads to the next volume of “Finding Gossamyr,” their popular all ages series, and will also be launching a brand new series: “Past the Last Mountain” by Paul Allor and Thomas Boatwright.

The creative team that brought you “Orc Girl”, the series appears to be another all-ages fantasy series starring fantasy-based characters in a more modern setting (I’m guessing, from the buildings in the background — Dragons don’t belong in buildings!). As Paul writes about the announcement:

Hey, big news! I’m doing a new creator owned book with Orc Girl artist Thomas A Boatwright! It’s called Past the Last Mountain, and it was solicited today, in the Free Comic Book Day silver sponsors. All-ages geopolitical fantasy.

Here’s the full solicit for Th3rd World’s FCBD offering:

Finding Gossamyr: Way of the Bladeslinger FCBD 2014 EDITION

(W) David Rodriguez, Paul Allor

Return to the fantastic world of Finding Gossamyr as Th3rd World’s critically acclaimed series continues in a brand new FCBD adventure that leads into the upcoming Volume 2! Also featured in this issue is a preview of the new Th3rd World Studios series, Past the Last Mountain, in which a trio of fantastic creatures escapes human imprisonment to seek a fabled sanctuary known only as “Dragon Lake”.

Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
