Dark Horse Press Release

A middle-aged Portuguese werewolf, a six-thousand-year-old demon trapped in the body of a seven-year-old girl, and a pizza-delivery boy team up to save the world . . . more often than they’d like. The Adventures of Dog Mendonça and Pizza Boy is a three-part introduction to these unlikely teammates, previously featured in the original graphic novel As Incríveis Aventuras de Dog Mendonça e Pizza Boy, published by tinta-da-china.

“While growing up in Portugal and Argentina, our small crew got so much inspiration from Dark Horse Comics–I guess the options were to hire or to sue us!” said writer Filipe Melo. “I have absolutely no doubt that the call we got from Mike Richardson saying that we would be participating in DHP was the happiest moment in my life. We are all fans of his work, so if this is all a giant prank let me know as soon as possible!”

The first chapter in this all-new story line will appear in Dark Horse Presents #4, and is sure to please new and existing fans alike!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
