Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– Even though Preacher has yet to debut on AMC, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are apparently pitching an adaption of Garth Ennis’s “The Boys.” According to Birth. Movies. Death., Rogen and Goldberg are working with Supernatural‘s creator Eric Kripke. Visual aid presented to your left to show you what kind of series this would be. Hopefully this leads us down a winding road where we get “Hitman” on The CW, palling around with Flash and Green Arrow.
– DC All-Access, DC’s marketing initiative led by soulless flesh sacks with twitter handles, has a trailer for the upcoming Batman: Bad Blood. DC’s “Jason” already made the obligatory Taylor Swift “jokes” so just appreciate the fact that Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s “Batman and Robin” run is being adapted into a movie, in some capacity. Also in the video: mini-interviews with the movie’s crew as well Damian Wayne and Dick Grayson, together again.
– Comic Book Resources has a clip from an upcoming episode of Flash where everyone sits down and actually explains what the multiverse. It’s adorable. Martin Stein even names universes “Earth-1” and “Earth-2”, adding that there’s an infinite amount of universes out there. I’d have lost my mind if the scene ended with Dan DiDio smacking him in the face and saying “It’s only 52, brother.”
– UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion and Death Incarnate told Entertainment Tonight that she wants to be considered to play Carol Danvers in the Captain Marvel movie, now pushed to 2019. With all the delays that movie has faced, it’d be pretty anticlimactic for the film to have a runtime of twenty four seconds. Also, this is your daily reminder that Rousey is starring in a Roadhouse remake.
– THE APP STORE has a trailer for season two of Daredevil. Okay, it’s a minute and a half of the first season, before offering a solid look at Elektra and The Punisher. Real talk: following some current events, I’m super intrigued to see how The Punisher’s character is handled on the Netflix series, dropping in 2016, especially since the trailer shows him walking into a hospital with a gun.
