In the last season of Doctor Who, it was quite a big deal that the Doctor was making a trip to America and bringing all his friends with him. It was a fun little adventure, and it involved frequent reference to the fact that the Doctor had purchased and chosen to wear a very fashionable hat.
Today, BBC have released a new trailer for the upcoming seventh series of Doctor Who, and wouldn’t you know it, the Doctor is once again wearing a stetson. This time, however, he appears to be in the Old West and battling against a villain who looks like a Western version of Kickpuncher. Throw in what appears to be something akin to Hoth as well as an Egyptian princess, and we’ve got what looks to be another fun series of the seminal British television programme.
Of course, what’s noticeable here is that there is no appearance in the trailer of new companion Jenna-Louise Coleman or her fashionable sweaters, who will be replacing Amy (and Rory) as the Doctor’s companion. There is, however, plenty of Amy being sassy towards the Doctor.
