The End is Coming for AvX

Marvel has released the above teaser for the upcoming finale of “AvX,” featuring a familiar looking figure that seems to apply that Jean Grey will be making some kind of appearance. Given her tie with the Phoenix and the fact that she’s one of the few Marvel characters to have died and stay dead, it seems a resurrection may be in order. But then again, this could just be something to do with Hope. You know, the current Jean Grey.

However, I think Rob Guillory said it best when he tweeted, “Putting Jean Grey in your teaser titled THE END is a good way of saying NOT THE END. #AllSheDoesIsDie”

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
