The Game of Thrones Season 4 Trailer is Amazing, Full of Secret Spoilers

Debuting last night while most of us watched the Golden Globes, HBO debuted an official first look at Season 4 of the critically-acclaimed and massively pirated show Game of Thrones. Giving us the second half of “A Sword of Storms,” things are only get to get more dangerous and more high-stakes for all our favorite characters, including but not limited to Your Favorite Character who will most likely have to die now because that’s how this works.

Now, I will say this — as someone who has read the books, there are quite a few moments in this trailer where I said, “Oh… that.” And, naturally, as the show becomes more popular the number of people abstaining from reading the books is diminishing as people can’t get enough of the dramatic realm of Westeros. The latter half of “Swords” is full of so many “OH SHIT” moments it’ll make Season 3 look like Sesame Street (except maybe, y’know, that one awful part…).

So: be careful of spoilers. There are no direct things in this trailer that will ruin anything specific (I don’t think), but I’ve already seen some other sites be incredibly awful and just flat out explain what some scenes represent or lines allude to. I’ve seen some sites that — well, if I was a show-watcher, I’d be actively dismayed.

So stay away from them! And maybe comment sections, but mostly all those mean other sites that spoil everything. Multiversity loves you. We won’t spoil anything.

Take a watch above, avail yourself of the pent up excitement in the comments below. But NO SPOILERS. We’re a spoiler-free zone! … Until the reviews.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
