Just revealed on Entertainment Weekly in advance of today’s “The Multiversity Enrollment” panel at SDCC, Grant Morrison has helped craft a map of the multiverse as a useful tool to pair with his upcoming, long anticipated series “The Multiversity.” This map helps lay out some of the elements that make up the series, from the Multiversal Vibrational Realms (including old friends like The Source Wall, New Genesis, and Morpheus the Dream King’s DREAM realm), to various classifications of shift ships used to move between them (you can see The Authority’s Carrier in there), to a much more grandiose look at it all together in the center. This map will be handed out at the panel, but to get a look – albeit small look – at the image above.
Morrison actually sketched the original himself, which you can see below, and that image gives you a little insight into the madness behind the method. This book is going to drive people wild, and I predict it will be so inspiring that successful websites might be named after it one day. One could only dream.
