For all three of you that are Red Hood fans (I’m looking at you Matt, Gil and Brandon), you’ll be excited to hear that DC is gearing up for a big Red Hood push going into the DVD release of the upcoming Under the Red Hood animated film. They are pairing Judd Winick and Pablo Raimondi together for a six issue mini-series titled Red Hood: The Lost Days that shows us how Jason Todd became the Red Hood. According to Winick, it helps you get under the hood to understand better how he became “sympathetic, and an unrepentant monster.”
To me, I’d sooner buy the rest of Prelude to Deadpool Corps than read anything featuring Jason Todd, but at least it features Winick and Raimondi, two creators whose work I’ve liked in the past.
