In a move clamored for by no one, Marvel will be bringing Thunderstrike back in an upcoming mini-series from original creators Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz. For those that do not remember, T-Strike (or Homeless Man’s Thor, if you prefer it) was a 90’s character that gained the powers of Thor as well as fake Mjolnir and a ponytail thanks to a convoluted origin that could only have happened during the time of foil covers and style over substance storytelling.
This was revealed somewhat accidentally in the guest listing for the New York Comic Con, and should be an interesting return for the character given the fact he was previously dead. The title will be helmed by his original creators, so look for this mini to continue at least continue the definitive look on ponytail Thor.
