Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.
– It’s official: Twin Peaks is returning for an 18 episode season beginning with a 2 hour premiere on May 21. Not only that, but all 18 episodes will be directed by David Lynch himself. As the man said, let’s rock.
– Over in comics news, Ben Reilly returned from the dead in “The Amazing Spider-Man”‘s current storyline and now he’ll be taking on his old mantle once more. Debuting in April, “Ben Reilly: The Scarlet Spider” will be headed by Peter David and Mark Bagley and CBR has the exclusive interview.
– Talking to MTV News, Zoe Saldana confirmed that she will make an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War. Seems like everyone’s getting in on this part including, potentially, Liv Tyler.
– Finally, if you’re bummed out about how garbage that Ghost In The Shell movie looks, you can revisit the original film when it returns to cinemas in February. I’ve already got my tickets booked.
